Hard Chrome Plated Hollow Piston Rod
The hollow piston rod is manufactured from high-strength carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, including materials such as 45# steel, 40Cr, 42CrMo, and various stainless steel grades. Material selection can be tailored to specific application requirements, ensuring an optimal balance of strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance for reliable long-term operation.
Through precision machining and strict dimensional control, the product achieves accuracy grades from F5 to F9. This ensures excellent straightness, concentricity, and motion stability during reciprocating movement, effectively reducing friction, improving system efficiency, and enhancing overall performance.
The hollow structural design significantly reduces weight while maintaining mechanical strength, and also allows for internal fluid channels or cable routing. This design supports system integration and functional expansion, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring lightweight construction and compact system layouts.
The surface can be treated with hard chrome plating, with thickness ranging from 0.010 mm to 0.10 mm. The chrome layer offers high hardness, strong adhesion, and superior resistance to wear and corrosion, ensuring consistent performance under high-load and high-frequency operating conditions.
With diameters ranging from Φ20 to Φ500, the hollow piston rod can be precisely machined according to customer drawings. Custom production is available to meet specific dimensional, structural, and application requirements across hydraulic cylinders, engineering machinery, industrial equipment, and specialized mechanical systems.
